Artists For Hope supports The Real Hope For Haiti Rescue Center in Cazale Haiti. The Rescue Center houses on average 65 injured or severely malnourished children. Most of these children have loving parents that are doing all they can to provide for their children. Licia and the staff at the Rescue Center love and care for these children while doing everything they can to nurse them back to health.
Seeing children literally starving to death on the Rescue Center’s blog is what motivated us to do something. We wanted to use our love for art to help these children and give them hope for their future.
At the end of November 2009, we were able to visit the Rescue Center for the first time and witness the hope first hand that they provide for these children. We have been back multiple times since. We want to do everything we can to help them with the funds they so desperately need to be able to help these children.
